the time has gone time, gone ?!? oh nooo!!! you and these endless dialogues again? yes well, it seems that you haven't learned much since we last met. action! we want action! i see well, 'you' are gonna disappoint this time because todays menu does not include octopussy-equalizers and such 'action'. only time-eating high-level mathematics is served. oh lord. high-level math.. such as? such as.. ho hoo! it's me, tai-pan of phalanx , presenting you my second intro at last. (note: even if this is more like demo i prefer to call it as intro just because that word sounds better in my ears. ) yeah, after drinking thousands bottles of jaffa, spending countless nights without sleep, throwing up three times, and falling sick twice, i eventually managed to finish it! making this intro took only a little over two months to code, so i'm getting faster all the time, hou hou. well, let's get to the point and start with the credits: coding by tai-pan font by blade and this nice tune called "creative human" is composed by creative walkman of it so, here it is. over two months work under your eyes. i hope you find my 3d-routine satisfactory. i have to confess that i really am a bit proud of it because it can provide some unusual features which haven't much existed in previous 3d-demos. just stay on the same bat-channel and you shall find out! perhaps a brief description of history of this intro would fit here well. it all began as early as two years ago when i first began to think how it would be possible to produce some 3d-grafix. after some heavy thinking i managed to create a clumsy basic-program (using my good old amstrad cpc) which produced 'almost' perfect vector-grafix. but then i forgot the whole idea till last x-mas, when i began to think what to do in next intro. so i dig up old formulas i used in the basic-program and i began to convert it to amiga. the 68000-conversation was surprisingly easy to do. the first version i made in only two days and it worked fine except it was slow, too slow. so a lots of debugging was Oadone until i came up with this final version. i wrote the main rouO0tine abouO5t three times (each time it was a completely different, still doing the same thing but always faster than the earlier versions.) until it come to the requirements i had put to it. it is not easy to describe how powerful it is but as a sample the diamond you are watching consists of 19 points and 48 lines and still theres a lot of unused time. ofcourse you notice without saying that the screen is updated on every frame. ok, end of boring info-part next on bat-channel: some quick messages to a few persons. first a same message to following guys: trashin adducers, gizzy crush (norway), bonfire vortex 42, and psycho bill sunriders. i haven't heard from you since ages. why? please contact soon, i miss you all. hohohahohehihohuha... then message to hackman deathstar: cut the bull, ok? then message to mic world of wonders: congratulations! you got my amiga pregnant, and the baby will most likely born in a couple of month. one last message to all of you. yes, we have lately been asked to join several groups, and always we have given the same answer: nope and it always will be the same, even if you were a green marsian with planet full of amiga 3000's . so if you are considering to ask us to join your group (whatever group) , don't! it would be only a waste of paper. and next on bat-channel: an unusual feature in 3d-business! S6( unless you create a miracle which calculates the crosspoint of two lines and then tries to decide what to with it.)
